Hero Cover

The first section users often see on a web page is the hero. Out of various hero options, Hero Cover is a good choice if text needs to be at the forefront with subtle imagery in the background.

Hero Cover

Although simple yet straightforward the Hero Cover option is great for use on pages with long form content. Consider the Hero Cover blueprint.

What does each field do?

  • Hero Overlay Colors is the color overlay option that sits behind the text.

  • Image an image optionally can be added to this block. Click Browse or Upload file to add an image to the block.

  • Content The content block is where the text goes. Text is written in markdown # is used for writing a H1 text ## is used for writing an H2. Keep in mind that the hero is at the beginning of the page and page titles require an H1 tag. Click Markdown Cheatsheet if additional help is needed.

And there you have it! A nice hero that covers the top of your page. Once everything seems to be in a good place for publishing click Save and Publish.
