Savannah, GA – Piedmont Plastics was presented the Gold Level Supplier Excellence Award by Malibu Boats at their dealer meeting in November 2015. Alongside 70 suppliers, Piedmont was presented one of the top awards of the evening with a 98.8% satisfaction rate. No supplier has achieved gold-level status prior to Piedmont Plastics. The award was based on on-time delivery, defects, negative impacts, and sales. In the last four quarters, Piedmont supplied material with zero defects, an average on-time delivery rate of 99.7% – with two of the four quarters at a 100% – and no negative impacts to Malibu’s manufacturing schedule. Piedmont’s Knoxville and San Francisco branches and Branch Manager Bert Hagy have helped tremendously to develop the Malibu relationship.
