IAPD Scholarship Awarded to Piedmont Employee

Congratulations to the Strasser Family on Their IAPD Scholarship Award!

Piedmont Plastics is proud to recognize Alison Strasser, daughter of Drew Strasser, a Warehouse Employee at our Daytona Beach branch, for being selected as a recipient of the 2015 IAPD Scholarship. Alison was one of just 12 students chosen from a pool of 142 applicants—a competitive and impressive achievement. Notably, seven of those applicants were affiliated with Piedmont Plastics, showcasing our team's strong engagement with educational opportunities.

As a proud member of the International Association of Plastics Distribution (IAPD), Piedmont Plastics encourages all employees and their families to take advantage of the IAPD’s scholarship program and educational resources offered throughout the year.

The IAPD Charitable Foundation awards annual scholarships to support the academic goals of employees, their children, and students majoring in polymer sciences. Scholarship recipients may receive up to $4,500 to help cover the cost of undergraduate or graduate education.

  • Must be employed by an IAPD member company, or be the child of an employee
