At a race car’s front end, the splitter sits only about 1/16” above the ground. This allows the aerodynamic splitter to create maximum downforce. Polypropylene offers extreme durability with an excellent strength-to-weight ratio. Polypropylene’s impact resistance, lightweight, and corrosion resistance also make it highly suitable for racing applications.
